We headed to Wachusett Reservoir to attempt to catch some smallies . We got to gate 14 around 12:45 and started fishing a tube but I got no hits so I switched to a Texas a rigged craw still no hits... It started raining and we walked out on Dover Point the rain stopped and threw a spook no luck.we switched up spots and headed to gate 13 I started fishing the small pond there and saw a couple larries and my brother had some followers on spook . Really amazed that I had no hits on a wacky rigged senko only caught one pickerel.After fishing the pond I fished the res better depth than gate 14 yet again no luck.very cool spot will come back again.

started at osprey landing and headed up river toward the berkley bridge only brought saltwater gear and one fresh water tackle box after passing under the berkley bridge we headed up past the the beginning of the three mile river. As we moved we came upon some people fishing in a canoe they were useing fresh water gear as we pasted they hooked into a larry I was very surprised because I thought it was all salt water here.I tied on a saltwater spinnerbait type lure that looked like a squid. I thought it was way to big but I tried it out. A couple cast later a small larry grabbed it but got off I could not have been more surprised.I started casting to lay-downs and got hit a couple times. I finally connected and landed lb half larry my brother then landed one .we then called it quits had a great time

very windy headed out around two and headed to one of my spots it did not produce so I headed across to the other side all most call it quits because of the wind but decided to keep fishing.when I got to the other side it was protected by trees so there was no wind.the shore dropped right off to three feet of water.started casting right up to the shore and instantly got hit. I then flipped a black and blue spinnerbait next to a small brush pile I got thumped quickly set the hook and reeled in a three pounder nice chunky fish . cast a chatterbait up to a weed edge and nailed a dink .then headed back to the launch and left.
